in London, yesterday it was my last day of work at the Architecture Foundation and in the evening I went to the launch of this project by truly wonderful Kathrin and Andreas who have done many great projects at the junction of art and social interaction ( mobile porch is a favorite). Then sushi at Kulu Kulu with my friend Quentin followed by a ranting and raving science vs. art argument outside the French House in Soho...I guess that's what London life is about...

I'm off to deepest Alabama for a one-year residency at the rural studio in a couple of weeks. The purpose of this blog is to force myself to keep track of what I'm sure will be an eventful and unexpected year... when this really gets going I'm going to post pictures and many other things here so come back soon. In the mean time here's a picture of the car that my Alabama friend Robie is hopefully going to sell me...the driving licence story being a digression for another post!
